How could we improve Pillow?

  3. Enable audio on automatic

    I use automatic mode as I have an Apple Watch, it is great and recording seems pretty accurate, but I’d love to get audio too? It looks to me that you lose that feature when you are using automatic mode.

  4. Manually edit data of sleep (Not only beginning and end)

    Although I put my mic sensibility in "low", sometimes Pillow will record long periods of "awake" in the middle of the night even if I'm 100% confident I was asleep.
    It would be GREAT if we could manually edit that data in the morning, to gain more accuracy when the technology fails a little.
    Be able to select those periods and change the "awake" for "light sleep", for instance. Etc.

  6. Change alarm time without ending cycle

    Change alarm time without canceling sleep cycle. I’ve had mornings where the early plan changed overnight (snow day, flight delay, etc.) and I’d love to be able to go back to sleep with a delayed alarm without ending my sleep tracking cycle.

  8. Mark exactly where hours are on the graph

    It would be nice to know exactly where 11:00 am, 12:00 am, 1:00 am, 2:00 am, etc., are on the daily statistics graph. A little thin white line going up from the hour to its exact place on the graph (and 15 minute and 30 minutes lines in between the hour lines) would help immensely in seeing what time of the night you woke up or when you were in Rem. The way it is now, you have to guess at the time.

  10. Apple Watch snore prevention

    When snoring is detected, use Taptic Engine to give user a subtle nudge. Manual sensitivity setting, consider sleeping partner sound interference.

  11. Rearrange sleep notes

    It would be very helpful if one could rearrange/change the order of sleep notes as I have different “categories of sleep notes” such as activity and when I ate dinner. Sleep note that I added later are in a chaotic order. So I’d like to have all notes form one category close to each other.

  12. Support for iOS 12 Shortcuts

    Would love to be able to create a shortcut that started sleep tracking with predefined settings then did other things like turned off all the lights and enabled DND.

  13. Manually add a sleep session

    Sometimes there are bugs or others reasons and the sleep session isn’t recorded or not with the good time spent to sleep.
    It would be great if we could manually add a sleep session as it is possible in the apple health app.

    Hello!

    Beta versions of iOS are not official supported and you must use them at your own risk. We’ll do our best to ensure any issues are fixed the soonest possible, perhaps sooner than the public release of iOS 13 but can’t make any promises. We can only promise that any issues will be fixed for the public release.

  15. Better cooperation with Apple Screen Time

    In iOS 12 with the new Screen Time feature, using the manual mode of Pillow throws off statistics because the phone has to be on for several hours in the app. It would be nice if Pillow could be excluded from Screen Time (or some other adjustment like that), so it doesn't skew all the numbers and information.

  16. “I wasn’t sleep” button to easily dismiss incorrectly recorded sessions.

    The app often incorrectly auto-tracks sleeps sessions when I’m resting, watching the tv etc.

    Solution: Have a “I wasn’t sleep” button in the session info to easily dismiss incorrectly recorded sessions. Also, the AI will benefit from this information and learn more about your personal habits.

  17. HRV - Heart Rate Variability

    Please put in the option to compare my sleep quality to the HRV value from Health. I don’t need most of the Health values you offer now! But HRV is always there when you are using a watch. And it is one of the most important health values!

  18. Record noises better

    I had listened to recorded sounds, there were a lot of audios for midnight and all of them were started by a loud sound. I tried to listen to them to understand source of the sound, but i couldnt detect it truly, i think i would have detect them better if ‘pillow app’ could record a seccon before the start of loud sound. I think programmers can change app in a way that 1 seccond before starting of noises, be captured.
    Did you get what i tried to say?

  19. Setup Recurring Smart Alarms

    It would be nice if I could setup recurring smart alarms so that I could wake up, for example, at around 7 every Monday Wednesday and Friday and then maybe around 8:30 on Tuesday and Thursday. It is a bit of a hassle to change the time every night and I tend to also forgot so I sometimes wake up to my normal alarm that I set at those times as a backup, but I tend to get worse sleep due to the fact that it’s just a regular alarm that I wake up to.   20. Full Import \ Sync with Health Kit

    I have over 2 years of sleep data from using Sleep Cycle - it would be great if the Pillow app could pull or sync all of my previous Apple Health data for analysis, rather than just the previous day of data.
