  2. Better sleep sounds

    I would love to be able to play the song that I always listen to at night with this app. I can play it in the background of the app but the app doesn’t capture and sounds that way.

  4. Easier way to turn off alarm

    When the alarm goes off it takes ages to find it and turn it off. I have to search around my phone to find out which alarm is ringing, while it is ringing and it is very annoying that it can’t be quickly and easily turned iff

    More sounds, the ability to mix up your own sounds and also use the same sounds as for alarm sound for example sleep aid. All sound should be available for all sounds.

  8. Better reflect sleep science in sleep score

    Check out the book “Why we sleep”.

    Sub-7 hour sleep per night is proven sub-optimal for 99,9 % of humans.

    Sleeping only 4 hours per night for 6 nights or only 6 hours per night for 10 nights in a row results in cognitive impairment comparable to doing an all nighter, i.e. staying awake for 24 hours straight.

    Yet in Pillow you can sleep 6 hours for multiple nights in a row and achieve an 80% and above sleep score and receive no warning. I even set my target sleep duration to 8 hours and this is still possible. It’s…

  9. Trend lines and rolling averages for graphs

    It is difficult to detect when sleep duration starts to decline when we only see the average sleep duration across hundreds of sessions as it takes too long for that average to budge.

    I suggest introducing a rolling average of the last 30 and 60 days or some ability to compare the last complete week to the before last complete week. I emphasize complete weeks as many have differing schedules between weekdays and weekends.

    Perhaps the most elegant way would be to introduce buttons which allow switching the long term graphs for sleep duration and sleep start times from plotting…

  10. Manual sleep time entry

    Allow a user to manually enter sleep start and stop times when watch isn’t worn, watch battery dies, etc. This would provide more accurate total sleep statistics, as opposed to when watch is inadvertently not worn.

    Please make alarm/alert when your heartbeat reaches 80-120bpm when you are 5-10min. sleeping/resting/not moving. It would help a lot for people who suffers from sleep paralysis. Thanks!!!

  16. Option to create a list of alarm sounds and randomly select among that list

    I don’t know about others, but there are alarm sounds that I don’t like (like the digital one). On the other hand, choosing a single sound can make you hate it eventually (who likes to wake up :D). I’d be nice if we could create a list of alarm sounds that we like and then have an option to choose randomly among that list, just an idea.

  17. Manually add sleep seasions

    I have a sleeping disorder , Idiopathic Hypersomnia, where I fall asleep at random times. I will often miss activating Pillow for sleep sessions (naps or overnight) I can’t afford an Apple Watch so my sleep data does not reflect the amount of time I sleep. I need this data to provide myself and my sleep specialist with accurate information about the efficacy of my treatment. Pillow is a fantastic tool for monitoring sleep, but without the ability to manually add sleep sessions to get an overall picture of the total time I sleep, it’s data is inaccurate and therefore…

  20. Comparison with population data

    A feature I miss from the Fitbit sleep analysis is comparing my sleep analysis with people of similar age and gender. In other words how does my REM% or heart rate compare with similar age and gender.
