Automatically lower the brightness when the sleep cycle is started.3 votes
Pillow can now turn off the screen completely when the a new sleep session starts. You can customise the Turn-off screen behaviour in from the Settings panel in Pillow.
Would be nice to have preset post sleep report horses, fell asleep with light on, as well as a section for entering other events, neighbor’s stereo blasted till 3am....0 votes
Hello! This is already possible in Pillow. You can edit your sleep notes after the sleep session by tapping the Notes icon that you can find on your daily sleep analysis.
Hi, it would be great to have in the Snooze Lab suggestions of the ideal time to wake up if you go to bed on a certain hour based on sleep cycles and your sleep history (using things like Sleep quality per weekday). Also, it would be useful to have a tab where you put when you have to wake up and Pillow suggest you the best hour to go to bed using "time to sleep", "sleep quality per weekday" and using your personal and recorded sleep cycles.7 votes
Hello, this already available in Snooze Lab. It’s our optimal bed time notification insight that should appear after recording a few sleep sessions.
I would like to have an emoji based selection to record how I feel when going to bed, like the wake up option.1 vote
Hello! This is already possible in Pillow using Notes. Create a note of each mood and when the notes dialog pops-up before going to sleep, check the mood the corresponding note.
Hi, every morning that I snooze the alarm I need to look at the phone screen and search for the snooze button. I think it would be easier to just tap the phone or table in order to snooze the alarm or something similar.3 votes
If you are using Pillow with the iPhone only, you can Snooze the alarm by lifting the device a few centimetres and then place it back on the mattress. Pillow will use the proximity sensor on the device to detect that it was lifted and snooze the alarm. If you are using the Pillow on the Apple Watch: Open Pillow on the Apple Watch > 3D Touch anywhere on screen and tap “Snooze”.
When I use this app, sometimes the max loudness of audio is reduced to about half, even when I set the volume to "manual" and at 100%. It even alters this variable even after you exit the app.
This is really annoying because I want my alarms to be loud. Please fix this or make an option to allow the master volume of the device and alarms to not be altered when using this app.39 votes
The current version of Pillow has the option manually setup the alarm volume. You can find this option in the alarm settings by tapping on the little “bell” icon on the bottom right.

Maybe you could include details on planned updates and their dates in the app, under "Helpdesk". That way I'm not frustrated or impatient, and feel like my pleas for some features fall on silent ears.1 vote
Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to send us your feedback. We totally understand and share your feeling of impatience and frustration. The purpose of this forum serves that purpose you mention. Any feature we are working on gets a status update and such update is sent to you via email if you have subscribed on that specific idea. We would love to be more precise but the nature of this work makes that impossible. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
As soon as I start my sleep with pillow there should be an option that hitting start darkens the screen for the whole night to avoid the bright clock face from waking me up during sleep when I move.32 votes
This should be able to be done without having to start a sleep session, and subsequently stopping the sleep session after editing sleep notes.
However, when adding a sleep note just before going to bed, this should be automatically selected. For example, "phone rang before bed". When you're adding a sleep note before bed, it would make sense that this would be applicable for this sleep session.1 vote
Hello, thank you for your feedback. Sleep notes can edited anytime without starting/stopping a session. To do that: Open Pillow on the iPhone > Swipe left from the main screen to open the Daily statistics view > Tap on the pencil icon near the bottom right of the screen.
I used this app once and it completely killed my batery and if you allow the phone to go to sleep but still track sleep that would be great bc it won't destroy my phone batery1 vote
Hello, thank you for feedback. You can lock your device after you start a sleep session with Pillow. That said, Pillow uses the microphone, accelerometer and gyroscope while you are recording a session so it will consume some of the battery in any case.
Since our heart rate plays an important role in defining what sleep cycle we are in, why not track with the iwatch? I have yet to see an app do this with an alarm system as well. This would put you above everyone on the market. With adding a heart rate monitor, you would be able to provide even more true results to a persons sleep quality and patterns.42 votes
We’re really happy to announce that Pillow now supports detailed heart rate analysis via Apple Health.
Sometimes it takes me quite a while to fall asleep and I am also someone who can't sleep without some kind of background noise. I like that this app has the sleep aid feature. However, I found that the app falsely detected that I was asleep 3 times... So I had to unlock and restart the sleep app each time just to replay the sleep aid. By the second time this happened I found myself intentionally and probably unattractive trying to make more movements just in the hopes that this would prevent the noise from shutting off.. Nope! It didn't work. I would suggest allowing users the option to select a minimum play time for the background noise. Unfortunately, not all of us fall asleep so easily. I would also suggest featuring a replay option on the main screen so you don't have to restart the whole sleep process just to get some more rainfall sounds :) If this feature isn't upgraded I'll have to discontinue use of the app :(

Pillow now support a manual sleep aid duration setting so that you can adjust the duration the sleep aid as long as you prefer. In addition the latest version of Pillow now lets you listen to audio from other sources and apps, like podcasts or Spotify so that you can use those sources as a sleep aid as well.
It would be awesome to have some sort of wake up notes similar to the before bed notes! I get night sweats occasionally, so it would be great to be able to track that as well as if I had a dream.1 vote
Thank you for your feedback. The sleep notes feature is accessible anytime on the sleep report so you can add any notes related to waking up there as well. The charts will update according to your changes.
Thank you for your feedback! Pillow already supports alarm as an option. You can find a video demonstrating this option here: https://vimeo.com/143016583
I need them to function as I listen to music to help sleep. Currently you can t use then with this app.7 votes
We’re very happy to announce that the latest version of Pillow, now handles audio streaming in a new way so that audio from any other source is not silenced!
Please get in touch with us if you continue to experience any issues with the use of your AirPods.
Hi, can you translate your app in French ??

It would be great I it could use the Apple Watch to monitor your heart rate during the night and get the resting heart rate as soon as you wake uo211 votes
Pillow v.3.1 has been released with support for Heart rate analysis via Apple Health and many more enhancements.
Basically a feature similar to sleep cycle which displays your mood when you wake up.
This can be extremely helpful when looking back and analyzing data to see whether you got a good night rest and why.

Wake up mood is already available on Pillow. When the session stops you can select your mood on the iPhone and view your mood statistics chart by rotating your device horizontally. You can also edit your mood for any past sleep session by tapping on the mood icon on the sleep analysis view that you can access by swiping to the left in Pillow on the iPhone.
Part of our roadmap includes adding the ability to select your wake up mood from the Apple Watch app too.
