Manually record I am awake
Obviously the only time I know if the app is accurately recording what stage of sleep I am in, is when I am awake. During this time I often check my watch and the next morning find that the times that I checked my watch were not recorded as awake! Can you add the ability for the app to recognise a manual input to supplement the A.I. and accurately record when I am awake. This could be a something like simple double click to avoid error.

Would be nice if you could signal you are awake with the button on the side of the Apple Watch (for example by double pressing), to avoid too much screen light exposure.
I agree! Most nights I wake up at least 2 - 3 times where it takes me 5 - 20 minutes to fall back asleep. Being able to adjust this would be hugely helpful in gaining an accurate reading.
I like the ‘out of bed’ suggestion. I have to feed my dog and let her out early in the morning and then go back to bed for another hour or so. This button would help my situation (and my dog)
There is a cumbersome but effective “work around“ that I have figured out, that will result in recording the AWAKE status, when you are up and out of bed for a while during the night‘s sleep-time. A button to tap when “out of bed“ for a while during the night, for example to close the windows because of a rainstorm, or a child is crying etc., is desirable.
Yes I want this too because though it takes me a long time to fall asleep, there will be periods of time where I don’t move, hence the app records light sleep or even REM sleep. It would be extremely helpful to be able to correct it and get more accurate sleep data!
Regarding the ability to manually record that I’m awake, Agreed. I like the fact we can now crop the beginning or end. However full edit, including adding to the beginning or end, or altering incorrectly recorded sections would be helpful.
Also, I wake frequently during the night, and sometimes stop the app to use another function on my phone. Usually I’m able to “continue” after I turn it back on, though this “window” is very short. PLEASE lengthen it or allow sessions to be merged into one with gaps being captured as awake by default, with the ability to edit the gap if we were actually asleep.
