Manually edit data of sleep (Not only beginning and end)
Although I put my mic sensibility in "low", sometimes Pillow will record long periods of "awake" in the middle of the night even if I'm 100% confident I was asleep.
It would be GREAT if we could manually edit that data in the morning, to gain more accuracy when the technology fails a little.
Be able to select those periods and change the "awake" for "light sleep", for instance. Etc.
It mostly detects everything perfectly. Once a week maybe it doesn’t detect me using the bathroom or the correct time I’m in bed.

Please add this necessary feature. I wake up with a neighbor returning from work 2:15 every day & takes me 1-4 hours to go back to sleep. As well as another neighbor at end of sleep leaving for work 5:10 am every morning. Sometimes I can go back to sleep — mostly tho, once I’m in this behavioral cycle I’m unable to go back to sleep at all.
Please make this necessary edit feature available. It’s us that are having trouble sleeping that really need to be able to track and change our sleep behaviors. I was able to do it with my Apple Watch however wearing it all night gave me a laser burn that was removed as precancerous by Mayo. Apple said don’t wear the watch. That’s why Pillow seemed to be a good solution to change behavioral patterns— if we can edit manually.
I agree, there are sometimes it shows me awake for an hour when I know I was not. It would be nice to change that to light sleep.
The automatic mode works quite well, the edit function is a bonus. However, if my battery goes flat, my watch falls off, I forget to hit start or any of a myriad of other problems occur, I’d like to be able to manually add in sleep sessions. These will not have the sleep analytics, but will give me a sense of the overall time I have slept.
I would like the ability to adjust sleep start, time awake (e.g. add an awake period in the middle of the cycle) and add a sleep cycle if the manual start was forgotten. I frequently awaken very early morning and am awake for an hour or more but very still so the time is recorded as asleep but actually isn’t. Also, I sometime miss starting the sleep cycle (particularly when I don’t need an alarm for the next morning) and would like to be able to manually add a sleep session the next morning.
I know there’s an automatic setting but I don’t use it because I need the alarm most mornings and the two are not compatible! I had been using a Fitbit so I’m used to the automatic mode and being awakened by vibrations on my wrist. I understood that this app uses Apple Watch health data so it makes sense that I would be able to add a sleep session AFTER the fact, as long as the Apple Watch was worn.
I heartily agree with the ability to change say “light sleep” to “awake”. Once in bed, I play a few games, but am very still and quiet, so the app marks as light sleep.
My heart rate does show difference.
I usually edit out the time if I know for a fact I’m awake, since I always note the time I really turn everything off.
(This might also add to “good guilt” at time in bed versus sleeping.)
I have the mic on but apparently I am very quiet person in general.
The ability to reanalyze the session should be available AFTER listening to the sound recordings. It’s only then that I know if I was really awake or asleep at specific times.

Sometimes my watch falls off in the middle of the night and I lose that nights data. I'd like to be able to at least add a sleep and wake time for consistency. Please add this!
I have the same problem with it saying that I was sleeping when I wasn’t and I was awake when sleeping.
PS: There are times it shows me awake when 1. Sound recordings are of me snoring 2. My heart rate remains consistent with the sleep states before, during and after it says I’m awake
I have the same issue with Pillow showing me awake when I’m asleep, but in my case the sound recordings proved I was asleep, you can hear me snoring!
Is it possible to provide information on which data points are being used to determine your awake/sleep state. If we knew that perhaps a little tweak here and there would enable a little end user fine tuning.
Yes, this would be a great feature to have! I use manual mode and sometimes, like last night, I laid awake for 3 hours after pushing Start and the App shows I was in light sleep. It would be great to be able to change blocks of times the next morning.
I would love this - I was awake for almost three hours last night but pillow only got the beginning and end even though I was on my phone the whole time. The rest of it shows as asleep. I do manual sessions from my watch.
I can be awake for a long period during the night and Pillow shows me as asleep. Even if I’m on my phone. Last night I know I was awake for almost a two-hour stretch, but it only shows a short time awake.
I've been having a lot of instances where the data shows as a full night of sleep when I know for a fact that I woke up at least once during the night. I wish we were able to add that manually, since the app is not catching it. My mic sensitivity is at medium and I wear the Apple Watch while sleeping.
When I try to fix/edit data from the night, the "reanalyze" option makes it even more inaccurate!
I would like to add comments to the sound clips. (i.e. husband woke me up to talk, dog needed out, etc) so that I can just glance & see that at 10:05 there was a reason and I don’t need to listen again to find out why if I’m showing my dr.
Deffers need this with Narcolepsy!
Even if it was just manually deleting the times when it say that you’re awake when you are not would be nice! It also could be another data source for the AI to learn from making it more accurate in the future!!
I know I was awake last night in about 30 min because I was breastfeeding my son. But pillow shows that time as “light sleep”. Maybe my hart rate did nog get up or something but this is not the first time this happens.
