Make it so the app doesn't think you're asleep when using the phone.
This evening, I set pillow and then surfed the Internet for a bit. Eventually I got tired and went to sleep. Upon waking, I looked at my sleep pattern. The app said that I fell asleep minutes after setting the timer. I had actually been on the phone for over an hour before sleeping. I have lost A LOT of faith in the validity of the app. Please fix.
Yes. This is a bigger issue of app recording asleep when actually awake and aware. Perhaps focus on adding screen button for Awake with option of adding reason (user input on a tag 1 2 3 etc). Then a button to restart app assuming the same session - and sleep aid music restarts
This would solve several user requests in one upgrade.
Naturally this should be fixed at the earliest as it is the base of this app.
thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback.Due to technical and security reasons, Apple does not allow one app to monitor the usage of other apps so it would be technically impossible for Pillow to know exactly how you are using the phone. We are always looking for ways to make Pillow smarter but we are somewhat limited by the accuracy of the data we get from the device's sensors.
The app uses the gyroscope in your phone it detects the phones orientation and tells you what it thinks. but it would be better if the app knew if you were still operating your device.
It would also be helpful if it registered you awake when there are loud noises or people are talking. My husband and I woke up because a dump truck was outside our window. We then had a short conversation before falling back to sleep. The app had me asleep.
