How could we improve Pillow?

  1. Wake up mood vs time asleep chart

    I would like to see a graph of my time asleep and corresponding inputted wake up mood the following morning. This data already exists in the app, and the other chart data is accessible from the drop-down menu like alcohol and caffeine consumption. Have wake up mood be an option and layer it with time asleep.

  2. More iWatch Complications Please

    Can’t state the importance of this one enough! For me personally, This is the most important feature I look for in any app. This determines who I use most. Pillow or AutoSleep. Now I know that’s probably considered “Fowl” language, but sometimes we have to help the ones we love even they don’t want to hear it 💜🤭

  3. Statistics improvements

    Statistics graph. IMO, these graphs are the most important and valuable data I get from the app.

    1. Mark days that are weekends (I.e., use a different shade of white)

    2. Be able to select a specific day from the graph to get a drill down overview of that day. And be able to navigate back to that graph

    3. When setting the graph to to month view, make it sticky so that when moving to another graph it stays on a month view.

    4. Have an option to disable the auto scale to values of the graphs. It’s hard…

  4. Full Import \ Sync with Health Kit

    I have over 2 years of sleep data from using Sleep Cycle - it would be great if the Pillow app could pull or sync all of my previous Apple Health data for analysis, rather than just the previous day of data.

  5. Wake up on weekends based on hours of sleep being met and sleep cycle for least disrupt

    I don’t have to wake up on weekends so it would be nice for Pillow to recognize when I’ve gone to sleep and to wake me at the next optimal moment after my sleep goal has been met! 😁

  6. Snoring and sleep apnea

    Estimate the percentage of total sleep time spent snoring.

    Grade the snoring volume/intensity, perhaps on a 10pt scale, unless there is a better measure available (decibel).

    Consider creating an algorithm based upon the sound recording to estimate the possibility of obstructive sleep apnea. Heart rate may aid in that algorithm.

  7. Smart Wakeup in Auto Mode

    It would be awesome to be able to use Smart Wakeup when the apple watch is in auto tracking mode.

    Have the option to wake you up at a good moment in the sleep cycle after a certain amount of sleep or by a set alarm time.

  9. Auto-save session data if I accidentally close the app

    Please consider updating the app to “auto save” if it is accidentally closed during a session.

    I have accidentally exited the app (while closing other apps in the background) before ending my session. When I reopen it, the entire session is lost.

    Is there a way to retain the data so it is not completely lost if the app is accidentally closed?

  10. Track Actual Time To Sleep

    It would be great if the app tracked data and analyzed it for how long it took me to go to sleep with each recorded session. (Eg. the time between “In Bed” and “Asleep”)

  12. Setting an Amount of Sleep Opposed to an Alarm

    Same concept as the nap modes: just select how many hours of sleep you want and be woken up when the app has detected you’ve been asleep that long.

  17. Agree/disagree with quality %

    The new sleep AI is great and is teaching the app how I sleep, which as an active/mobile sleeper is fantastic. My request, although similar, is to add that to the quality percentage. Frequently I will wake up and feel amazing and have had a great nights sleep but when I look at pillow it reports my quality as 34% (randomly using that number). When I look at the duration of stages it will have nearly zero time recorded in REM sleep which is apparently resulting in the AI thinking I did not sleep well. Maybe your algorithm is giving…

  18. Record noises better

    I had listened to recorded sounds, there were a lot of audios for midnight and all of them were started by a loud sound. I tried to listen to them to understand source of the sound, but i couldnt detect it truly, i think i would have detect them better if ‘pillow app’ could record a seccon before the start of loud sound. I think programmers can change app in a way that 1 seccond before starting of noises, be captured.
    Did you get what i tried to say?

  19. Add amazfit bip support

    from what I understand amazfit bip can be incorporated into apps and I think this would be a great one to do it with. While Apple Watch is and always should be a great focus. I don’t have enough money to go out and buy one. And I still love this app. :)

  20. Randomize Alarm Music

    Be able to set a playlist as the alarm sound stock and randomize the alarm each morning based on that playlist(like the current given alarm noises).
