  2. Benchmarks For Gender & Age

    I love Pillow and want to see it continue to get even better. One feature that Fitbit has that is really helpful is benchmarks for gender and age so I know how to interpret the sleep data I’m seeing. This would be an excellent upgrade to an already excellent app. Thx for asking for feedback!

  3. Less background noise

    I get a lot of background noise and I end up having about 150 190 recordings a night. It would be cool if it could tell apart the insignificant noice such as passing cars or anything like that and not record it

    Hello! Filtering background noises is a hard problem but we are working on ways to make it happen. Besides discarding noise, we’re moving towards the direction of categorising sounds such as passing cars, instead of discarding them since many of our customers want to know if any such noise has affected their sleep. In the meantime we can only recommend setting the microphone sensitivity to “Low” from Pillow’s settings.

    Apple Music offers a Great selection of sleep and relaxing music. It would be nice to choose from the library.

  6. Smarter Naps

    I think that the nap setting should be improved by starting the nap timer once the app detects the person has fallen asleep. It takes people a while to fall asleep and if it takes 10 minutes to fall asleep, you would be getting 10 minutes for your nap, not the full 20. If this tweak is applied, the full nap would be achieved. I believe it would benefit everyone.

  8. add a reminder alert to go to bed

    sometimes i forget to start pillow and go straight to bed. so it’s useful a personalized bedtime hour (eg 23:00) to be notified before that hour.

  9. Pausing the app

    Occasionally I wake early and read for half an hour or even a couple of hours then fall back asleep for a few. I would like to be able to pause the app or re-start it like some people have suggested...and have the still considered one sleep session if possible.

  11. Average time asleep

    Currently it appears that nap time is considered as a separate sleep day for averaging. It then skews the amount of sleep per day. It should either be added to the night before numbers or excluded outright. If I take only my night data and calculate an average I'm at more than 5 hrs/night but with naps the at show just over 3hrs

  12. Customise bed time notification

    The bed time notification should be easier to customise, having the ability to set the actual time you want to be bed time and then the alarm corresponding to it would be great.

  13. Change y axis values for comparing sleep quality to weight

    Since the y axis starts at 0 the fluctuations in weight are not noticeable even though I've gone down 10 lbs in the past 2 weeks.

  14. Add Sleep Notes on Apple Watch

    As much as I love your app and the improvements you're making to it, I wish that I could add sleep notes directly on the Apple Watch. Since I don't care as much about the microphone and alarm features, this is the only thing preventing me from being able to use my Apple Watch completely independently from my iPhone for sleep tracking. I like sleep notes because they give an even better understanding of my sleeping habits, so I hope this feature is added soon. Thanks for making such a great app!

  16. Tap an 'I'm awake' button for when you've woken up in the night

    My first session didn't record the fact that I woke up a few times in the night, and has me logged as full deep sleep all the way through. I thought that it would be able to tell when I've woken up and gone back to sleep, but it hadn't. Unless I'm missing something and there is a function to inform it you've woken up?

    You can delete and alter the text in a note entry, but you can't reorder them! Please add this feature so that users can prioritize and organize their notes :)

  19. Smart alarm after X hours of sleep

    I go to bed in different time every day, it doesn't matter at what time I will wake up. I just want to have 7-8 hours of health sleep. But now I have to set an alarm to different time every day.
    Please, add an ability to set the alarm to trigger after sleep goal.

  20. View previous days more easily

    There seems to be only one way to view a previous entry and that's by swiping back a single day at a time. I'd like to be able to compare and look at previous days and months without scrolling one day at a time. I'd like to look at some of my earlier recordings but obviously that will take some time as I've been using the app for 5 months now....
    Perhaps when viewing the week, month or year you could tap on a day and view the details of that recording.
